Meet Digital Childhood Alliance Executive Director: Casey Stefanski
We are thrilled to introduce Casey Stefanski as the Executive Director of Digital Childhood Alliance (DCA).
Casey isn’t just stepping into this role—she’s bringing a big heart, bold vision, and a deep well of experience that will propel DCA’s mission forward in powerful ways.
For over a decade, Casey has been a driving force in the global movement to protect children online. As a mother of three, she knows firsthand the joys and challenges of raising kids in a tech-driven world. She is deeply committed to building a digital world where children can thrive.

A Legacy of Building Bridges & Breaking Barriers
Prior to joining DCA, Casey played a pivotal role at the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE), where she served as Senior Director of Global Partnerships and Events. Her 10 years of leadership helped build and unify a global coalition –growing to more than 600 organizations –dedicated to ending all forms of sexual exploitation. Casey has an unparalleled ability to bring diverse voices to the table, foster collaboration, and seek solutions in rooms where others see division.
Her work in organizing the renowned Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation (CESE) Global Summit transformed it into the cornerstone gathering for the movement to defend human dignity. Under her servant leadership, this summit became the place where critical conversations sparked real-world change—from shifting corporate policies to influencing landmark legislation for human dignity. She has rallied leaders across industries, advocacy groups, and policymakers to move the needle on protecting children from digital harm.
Before her coalition and events role, Casey helped NCOSE expand its reach as the organization’s Director of Development and Deputy Executive Director. She also worked alongside leadership to expand the organization’s grassroots advocacy and policy initiatives.
A Vision for Impact
Casey’s expertise isn’t just about understanding the issues of sexual exploitation and online child safety—it’s about knowing how to make high-impact, surgical changes that actually move the needle. With her degree in public policy and economics from the University of Chicago, coupled with her experience on Capitol Hill, she understands how to engage policymakers and industry leaders to create real accountability. She knows which levers to pull to make technology safer for kids –whether through legislation, corporate advocacy, or public engagement.
But beyond the strategy and expertise, what makes Casey truly remarkable is her heart. She is a listener, a bridge-builder, and a relentless advocate. She believes in the power of bringing people together – across industries, political divides, and global perspectives – to find common ground to ensure generations to come can enjoy their childhoods. Her optimism is contagious, her passion is unwavering, and her commitment to children is deeply personal.
Leading the Charge at DCA
As DCA’s new Executive Director, Casey will lead efforts to ensure that digital innovation prioritizes children’s well-being and gives parents tools to support their kids’ online experiences. She will continue fighting for policy changes that empower parents, and advancing bold solutions to make the internet a place where children can learn, grow, and explore – without being exploited.
She currently lives in Atlanta, GA, with her husband and their three children. As a retired collegiate athlete, Casey enjoys watching her kids play sports. You can usually find her near a pool, at a field, or on the tennis court, bringing the same competitive drive, teamwork, and heart to everything she does.
With Casey Stefanski at the helm, DCA is ready to take on the future with strength, strategy, and a deep commitment to every child’s right to a safe digital world.
